A new study shows that people with generalized anxiety disorder unconsciously label harmless things as threats, which may serve to further their anxiety.

IT'S LIKE THAT'S AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA FOR GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER OR SOMETHING. ALMOST AS IF THERE'S A NEURAL BASIS FOR THOUGHTS AND BEHAVIOR.
